A note to a friend who is a Trump fan

I know you are an ardent Trump fan and I applaud your passion. Yet, numerous Republican election officials, even Trump appointees, have said on the record there was no widespread voter fraud. And. Trump has lost about two dozen court cases, winning only one small case that tossed a few votes. Biden won because he got more votes in states where it mattered most. Trump has staged this voter fraud issue for over six months, so what he is doing is predictable, alarming and harmful to our country. I expect you will disagree with me, and that is fine, but I wanted you to know I have major concerns. That is what this old fart thinks. That and $2 will get you a cup of coffee.

  1. Your perspective isn’t likely to dent Trump nation. If they listened to reason or bothered to take the blinders off, the U.S. wouldn’t teeter on the brink of collapse. Trumpsters care little for reality, propaganda is parroted as truth. Sigh.

    • Thanks. You are right, but with a friend, if I can get some of the message heard, even if just little, it will help. There is a significant number of Republicans who believe Trump won and the election is being stolen. One thing for certain – Trump is not bragging about his two dozen court losses or withdrawals and he is not highlighting Republican election officials pushing back on the record. So, they may not be hearing that portion of the message.

By the way, Michael Beschloss (sic), a presidential historian, noted the Rudy G’s waving of papers at the press conference when he spoke of Venezuela having a hand in stealing the election, is out of the Senator Joe McCarthy communist witch hunt playbook. And, who was an advisor to both McCarthy and a young Donald Trump – an attorney named Roy Cohn. Cohn’s advice to Trump per his biographers was “never apologize and sue everyone.”

    • Janis, you are so right. My goal for reach out is to hopefully plant seeds about what Trump is not telling his followers – he is just being a blowhard and poor loser with baseless claims. Keith

  2. Note to Readers: The Pennsylvania courts have again ruled against the outgoing president’s campaign of wide scale fraud offering a scathing opinion of the lack of evidence and frivolous nature of the case. Yesterday, Republican Senator Pat Toomey endorsed the veracity of the judge and noted Biden is the president-elect.
